Jamie’s Dyslexia Revolution Documentary
Jamie is dyslexic – like about three kids in every classroom. Undiagnosed at school, he struggled and felt like a failure. In a special one-off documentary, Jamie goes back to school to see what’s changed – and what hasn’t. Speaking to teachers, parents, students and scientists, he finds two big ideas that could help right now, and takes them straight to the Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Phillipson... #ComeOnBridget
Watch nowJamie says…
“It’s no secret that I didn’t do very well at school. I felt disengaged, misunderstood, and – quite frankly – dumb, but making this show I knew I had to face all those feelings and get back into the classroom, the heart of where our kids learn. Because that’s where the change urgently needs to happen.
Working on this documentary, I was blown away by the amount of people that reached out to share their experiences. Never before in my 25 years in the public eye have I received such emotional and overwhelming responses. Dyslexia is a big deal and it cuts deep.
Please watch the documentary, share your stories, and join us in demanding a fairer future for every kid. Let’s make sure no child is left behind.”
